A high-level delegation from the Nigerian Institution of Highway and Transportation Engineers (NIHTE), led by the Immediate Past National Chairman, Engr. Saidu Hassan, FNSE, FNIHTE, recently completed a successful series of courtesy visits aimed at fostering collaboration and recognizing key contributions within the sector.

The delegation’s first stop was a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Engr. (Dr.) Chukwuemeka Agbasi, FNSE, FNIHTE. During the meeting, NIHTE presented a letter of appreciation to the agency in recognition of its steadfast support and continuous collaboration with the institution.

Subsequently, the team proceeded to the Federal Ministry of Works, where they presented a well-deserved Award of Recognition to the Director, Planning, Research & Statistics, Engr. U.B Ekong, FNSE, FNIHTE. The award was presented to honor his exemplary contributions during the recently concluded International Road Federation (IRF) Workshop.
